Thank you for your interest in visiting my site. I know I have not updated my online presence (or even real life presence) a whole lot for those who are interested in my views, my campaigns or even my failures.

But that is changing now.

Since I am starting to update things more and have been working more on developing my activism and a writing career (such as it is), let me explain some of what the Davidson for Change Committee is about.

The Davidson for Change website was developed in 2005 for my campaign for Salisbury (NC) City Council. I fully expected to use it more for campaigning or other political activities even after the 2005 election was over. This did not come to pass as work and family took precedence. And, to be honest, I was somewhat adrift in my political activism and opinions.

But now I am in a position to be more vocal and active in my community and in my state. I have always been a political junkie and spend many hours reading political and economic books, watching C-SPAN and keeping track of campaigns. I really LOVE campaigning.

To that extent, I will be working on the site a lot and although you will see more on the site over the next few weeks, I am setting an official launch date for the new site and my new mission for October 1, 2009.
